SERVICES

3D Printing is the perfect option for rapidly prototyping designs for future products or producing highly custom one-off parts such as props and cosplay parts.

With over 5 years of experience and being certified Solidworks Associates, we can work in over half a dozen Computer Aided Design programs, ranging from Google Sketchup to Solidworks and Fusion 360. We can generate custom parts and part drawings for traditional manufacturing or optimized for 3D Printing

Thinking of starting up a makerspace or hackerspace in your community? We can provide onsite consultation and even train your technicians on equipment.

3D Printing

What is it?

3D Printing is another term for "Additive Manufacturing", where a part is essentially "grown" layer by layer. We use a process known as Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM).

What materials can I print in?

FDM printing relies on thermo-plastics, plastics than can be re-melted and deposited to form the final part. There is an incredibly wide range of materials with a variety of properties like toughness, temperature resistance, flexibility, translucency, and much more.

Here are some common materials we use

  • PLA    (Jack of all trades)

  • PETG (Stronger and more temp. resistant)

  • TPU   (Flexible)

Check out the FAQ section for more detailed info about material selection!

What is 3D printing ideal for?

3D Printing is great for rapid prototypes, quick fixes, one-off parts, or extremely complex aesthetic parts.

Custom CAD Modeling

What is CAD Modeling?

CAD stands for Computer Aided Design and is the process of designing a 3D part in a computer software.

What kind of modeling do you offer?

Typically we do Engineering CAD work as opposed to aesthetic or architectural work, though don't hesitate to ask as we look at things on a case by case basis.

 Makerspace Consultation

What is a Makerspace?

A Makerspace is an area where people can come and bring their ideas to life. Often containing tools, machines, and resources that would be otherwise hard to come by for an individual.

How can we help?

We can help throughout multiple stages of developing a Makerspace. From planning out the space(s), to recommending equipment and resources, to providing training for technicians and staff.
